Hermanni Saarisen näyttely pitää sisällään modulaarisia puuveistoksia.
Termi jolla veistoksia voisi kuvailla löytyy musiikin teoriasta: kontrapunkti. Veistoksen kontekstissa kontrapunkti voisi tarkoittaa muodon suhdetta sen vastamuotoon, ja sitä mitä tapahtuu kun nämä muodot yhdistetään ja asetetaan sommitelmaan.
Veistosten modulaariset osat on muotoiltu kolmella eri tavalla ja ne ovat kolmessa eri koossa. Nämä muuttujat asettavat parametrit veistosten olomuodoille. Näyttelytilassa veistokset muodostavat putkistoja, liikkeen rytmejä, virtauksia ja energian kulkuja.
Taiteen edistämiskeskus on tukenut näyttelyn tekemistä.

Hermanni Saarinen's exhibition includes modular wooden sculptures.
A term to describe the logic of these sculptures can be taken from music: counterpoint. In the context of sculpture, counterpoint could mean a relation of a form to its counter form, and what kind of a harmony and composition they can create together.
The modular parts of the sculptures are carved into three different shapes and sizes. These modular variables set the parametrics for the appearence of the sculptures.
Within a gallery space these sculptures are put together forming pipelines, rhythms of movements, currents and passages of energy.
Arts Promotion Centre Finland has supported the exhibition.
